Old vs New
Sometimes juxtaposing the old vs new creates a compelling photograph, as is the case in this photo. You can catch these kinds of shots on photo walks. Make sure you hit the narrow streets and alleys, as that is where you might find some fascinating subject matter (other than buildings).
Watch for light. Sunlight shining on a building in early morning and/or late afternoon can enhance the detail in your image and will ensure that a hand-held shot is sharp.
Two things to remember:
Juxtapose old vs new.
Look at the lighting.
Very cool shot. I like the contrast of this old building with the modern buildings in the background. Very cool!
ReplyDeleteI actually really like how you happen to catch a jet passing by in the sky as well. It adds another dimension to the photograph.
I have some good tips as well at www.great-photography-tips.com.
Thanks, I'll check out your website too.
