Barcelona Fountain

When walking around Barcelona, you'll find many fountains like this one.

The city goes back 2000 years. The former residents have left much behind--sculptures, an Olympic Stadium and some really classic architecture.

The most recent news from the city is that bullfighting is now banned. Yes, that's right, no more madators no more bulls being brutally stabbed until they fall over dead. It's all just another addition to the 2000-year history of the region.

Nice thing about Barcelona is that it can be pretty warm in December--temps reaching into the 60s sometimes, which makes a great place to go to at Christmas time.

One other thing--the Park Cruell is not to be missed. The Gaudi architecture spot the park--lizards, towers and passageways filled with the artist's colored tile work. Post a pic of it soon.
